Ethical code
We will abide by the following:
1. Client confidentiality will be maintained.
We will not reveal to other parties any private details of work undertaken for a client without the permission of the client.
2. Competency assured.
We will only undertake work that we are competent to perform. We will advise of any relevant limitations in our skills and experience.
3. Our ethics are not for sale.
We will provide technical advice in an unbiased and objective manner. We will only advocate a position which is supported by valid data and analysis.
4. Conflicts of interests advised.
We will advise clients of any potential or perceived conflicts of interest before undertaking work. Existing work will take precedence and new work, which may present a conflict of interest, will only be undertaken with the permission of all potentially affected clients.
5. Publicity avoided.
We will not seek publicity for ISL through the news media or otherwise by adopting public positions on any issues.
